International Management Council (IMC), 1903 Formed by the factory directors under the YMCA in Hartford, Connecticut. Initially named INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT CLUB (IMC), gradually developed and became a leadership development in industrial and commercial circle. The goal is to grow the business professional in global industrial and commercial growth, fostering management leadership excellence and business professional development.
Taiwan's first IMC chapter was established in Taipei City in 1961; currently, there are 16 chapters across various counties and cities nationwide, with representatives from these chapters forming a national federation.
